Our latest Outlook is now available in an updated version in English. The contents include a summary of our latest  forecast for the world economy’s and Sweden’s growth prospects, as well as a summary of the latest thematic study: When the global citizen becomes middle class.

The forecast and the study complement each other well this time, since even though our estimates continue to indicate generally low growth rates, the long-term growth perspective for both developing economies and mature ones looks bright. We may well see the size of the world economy double in nominal terms to 2030, with rising incomes and standards of living for billions of people. This will lead to shifting patterns of consumption and thus, even in this period of slower growth, companies have ample opportunities to gain new customers.
